How do I add a trail camera?

Tap the + button on the main camera list screen. Enter a name for the camera, then optionally add GPS coordinates by tapping "Use My Current Location" while you're standing near the camera, or tap the map to place a pin manually.

Does the app work without cell service?

Yes. TrailCam Manager is offline-first. You can view all your cameras, navigate to them using the compass navigator, and log new placements without any internet connection. Changes sync automatically when you reconnect.

How does the offline navigation work?

Open any camera placement and tap "Navigate to Camera." The compass navigator shows the bearing (direction) and distance to the camera using your device's GPS and compass โ€” no map or cell service required. Walk in the direction shown until the distance reaches zero.

How do I log a camera check?

Open the camera, then tap "Log Check." Record what you found, what you did (SD swap, battery change, adjustment), and optionally attach a photo. All checks are stored in the placement history for that camera.

How do I delete my account and all my data?

Go to Settings โ†’ Delete Account. This permanently and immediately deletes all your camera placements, placement history, and photos. It cannot be undone.

I bought the app on one device. Do I need to buy it again on another?

No. TrailCam Manager is a one-time App Store purchase. Sign in with the same Apple ID on any iPhone and restore your purchase for free. Your camera data also syncs across devices via your account.
